christmas family photos

We had quite the special Christmas this year as everyone from my extended family was home for the holidays – can’t remember the last time we were all together! As a surprise, my cousin Julie hired a photographer and arranged for all of us to meet at Sandy’s house for a big family photo. Let me tell you – it’s not easy getting 30+ people (including kids) in one room during the holidays but somehow we all made it!

Thanks again to Julie and Sandy for making Christmas this year a special one!

santa babies

Since my mom retired earlier this year, we weren’t able to take advantage of the free Santa photos at her company’s holiday party. We’ve been so busy since June arrived that I really thought we’d miss out on Santa this year. However, my brother Andy offered to take the kids to get their photos taken with Santa while I had a doctor’s appointment in Seattle one day. He had taken Drew to see the Santa last year as well so this year, we decided to make it an official tradition – Uncle Andy will take the kids to see Santa each year.

The Santa isn’t as good as the one from last year but we do love the set up at the University Village location.

No tears and a fist pump – I’ll take it!

one month in the books

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly days, weeks and months can go by. With the blink of an eye, June is now a month old!

At her four week appointment, her stats are almost identical to Drew’s when he was a month old. Let’s hope big brother remains a bit taller though. 🙂

One month stats:
– Weight: 8lbs 13 ounces (Drew was 8lbs 12.5 ounces)
– Height: 20.6 inches (Drew was 20.75 inches)
