Born and raised in Washington state, I’ve lived here most of my life except for my brief stint in Los Angeles, CA. Okay…it wasn’t really that “brief” as I lived there for nearly seven years!

Keith, originally from Mississippi and Colorado, moved to LA six months after I did. We met at Edelman Public Relations where we both worked on the Xbox business but different teams.

Like most love stories, we started off as friends, which quickly became best friends, which then led to dating and well, you know how the rest goes – got married, bought a house, moved to Seattle, had a baby, etc.

We love our story and look forward to adding more pages to it. 🙂

Pearl was born on December 3rd, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA. We adopted her outside of a Whole Foods in El Segundo, CA (random I know). She’s a mix of Shar Pei, Sheltie and possibly a Labrador Retriever.

Most days, she lounges around the house waiting for Keith to come home from work. Often times she’ll come into my office while I work and give me those puppy dog eyes. I’m a sucker and fall for it every time which results in a treat or game of some sort. On the weekends, Keith and I take her on walks around the neighborhood, mini road trips and sometimes the dog park (her favorite!).

If you know Keith and I, you know that Pearl is not just our dog but our furry child. We love our girl and can’t imagine a more loyal companion.

We welcomed our son, Drew Nolan Carpenter, on November 21st, 2014. He surprised us by arriving five days early – just in time for Thanksgiving!

Our baby boy is growing up so quickly. He’s strong (always gets out of his swaddle), active (if he could, he’d be walking by now) and handsome (at least I think so!). We’re savoring every moment of these early weeks and months – before you know it, he’ll be off to college [insert tear drop].
