We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. The best part was attending the Mariner’s game with the Rickerts (first time with Gracie!). I think Gracie had way more fun hanging with Uncle Keith than she did watching the game. Pretty sure Uncle Keith felt the same. They even shared a PB&J sandwich!

it’s that time of year again…
Yep, time for baseball!
I’ve always liked baseball but after being with Keith so long, I’ve accepted the fact that it will always be a huge part of our lives. It’s by far Keith’s favorite sport. He loves everything about it and has even been the commissioner of his fantasy baseball league for 12 years! Even though Keith gets so consumed by the game during the season, I enjoy seeing the joy and raw emotion it brings out of him when he’s watching. I know someday he will pass his love for the game on to our kids, which is fine by me. 🙂

honeymoon and back
Keith and I had originally planned to make a trip to Europe for our honeymoon, specifically Italy and Spain. However, with the turn of events aka we moved to Seattle and bought a house, we decided to scale back our trip. We ended up spending two weeks traveling the East coast – we started in Massachusetts (Boston), then hit up Maine (Kennebunkport) and Vermont (Woodstock / Barnard) before heading back to Massachusetts (Cape Cod).
It may not have been our dream vacation but we sure made the most of it. And honestly, I think the best part of the trip was the time Keith and I spent in the car listening to books on tape. We laughed, we cried (the book was sad), we laughed again and just enjoyed being together. Isn’t that what it’s all about?
it’s in the details
Overall, I had a pretty good time planning our wedding – though I think a lot of that had to do with the project manager in me. With the help of my bridesmaids and family, I was able to execute all of the ideas I had envisioned for the big day.
It was the little details that helped make the wedding the “best. day. ever.”!
best. day. ever.
An actual write up won’t do our wedding day justice so I’ll rely on the photos to tell the story. It truly was the “best. day. ever.”!
